Their Barolo Chianti was created in 1890 by Dr. Giuseppe Cappellano (Giovanni's brother)—a pharmacist by trade—who made it as a digestive aid, this is a slightly fortified, aged Barolo, that has been infused with herbs spices and a bit of sugar.
