Swartland ‘Old Vines White’
Chris and Andrea Mullineux established their winery in 2007 in the Swartland region of South Africa, and within a very short time period the winery established itself as one of South Africa’s most celebrated wine brands, with Master of Wine Tim Atkin consistently listing them as one of his South African 'First Growths,' and additionally, in 2016 Andrea was named Wine Enthusiast's Winemaker of the Year. Their goal is to bring about the greatest representation of Swartland terroir possible, using a minimal approach, their wines show precision and purity, particularly their celebrated single-site bottlings: IRON, SCHIST, and GRANITE.
Their Old Vine White is produced from a blend of Chenin Blanc, Clairette Blanche, Sémillon Gris, Grenache Blanc, and Viognier vines grown on granite-based soils on the Paardeberg that are up to 72 years old. The wine shows fresh stone fruit and ginger-spiced pears with layers of yellow grapefruit and nectarines. The wine has a vibrancy and energy due to its lively acidity.

We generally make deliveries in the Midland/Odessa area Monday through Friday (unless closed for special occasion).
We do our best to have all orders placed BEFORE NOON on delivery days delivered SAME DAY. All orders placed after noon will be delivered the following delivery day. For most of Midland County orders over $150 in certain areas will receive FREE DELIVERY. Delivery distances defined by zip codes. See delivery zones below.
