Chalk Hill 'Clajeux Vineyard' Cabernet Sauvignon
Produced from 12 rows of vines located in the Clajeux Vineyard of Sonomas Mayacama Mountain range, which is characterized by a long, slow, and cooler growing season than neighboring Napa Valley, the wine was fermented 30% whole-cluster and aged for 22 months in French oak barrels (30% new) that were hand crafted by Nathan Roberts.
Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts are two of the most dynamic winemakers in all of California, and have been leading the charge for site-specific, somewhat off-the-beaten-path varietal wines since their inception in 2001. They are paradigm-shifters for the state and the country.
Winemaking at Arnot-Roberts borrows from both the old world and new, 'Old School' and new as well. While each wine gets its own regime, the general technique includes wild fermentations, little or no new wood, and whole-cluster inclusion for the red wines.

We generally make deliveries in the Midland/Odessa area Monday through Friday (unless closed for special occasion).
We do our best to have all orders placed BEFORE NOON on delivery days delivered SAME DAY. All orders placed after noon will be delivered the following delivery day. For most of Midland County orders over $150 in certain areas will receive FREE DELIVERY. Delivery distances defined by zip codes. See delivery zones below.
