Malterdingen GG Bienenberg Chardonnay
From the GG (Grand Cru) Bienenberg site, a laser-focused chardonnay, showing greater reduction and expressing itself with wet stone, incense, flint, and candied citrus. Strict and austere, with two years on fine lees. This wine will be long lived and develop over years, possible decades.
Julian Huber, who now helms his late, great father, Bernhard Huber's winery, is considered by some of the most respected voices in wine culture to b a benchmark in fine Spätburgunder (aka Pinot Noir) and Chardonnay production not just in Germany, but throughout Europe. His Grosses Gewächs/GG (aka Grand Cru) bottlings of Chardonnay sell out almost instantly, and his GG Pinot Noirs are spoken of in hushed tones of reverence.

We generally make deliveries in the Midland/Odessa area Monday through Friday (unless closed for special occasion).
We do our best to have all orders placed BEFORE NOON on delivery days delivered SAME DAY. All orders placed after noon will be delivered the following delivery day. For most of Midland County orders over $150 in certain areas will receive FREE DELIVERY. Delivery distances defined by zip codes. See delivery zones below.
