One of the truly traditional winemaking bodegas found in Rioja, R. Lopez de Heredia has spent the last 130 years carrying the torch for "the old ways" all while revolution has raged around them, and that sticking to their guns has allowed them to establish themselves amongst some of the greatest wines on the planet, including the legendary 'Viña Tondonia Gran Reserva'.
Their 'Viña Gravonia' Blanco is a highly sought after white rioja produced from 100% Viura, which spent 4 years in oak before a bottle maturation period of 5 years.
Expect bruised apple, honey and orange marmelade, with toasted nuts and a almost salt-like minerality.
This wine is often described as an almost dry-Sauternes-like wine, and is one everyone should experience.

We generally make deliveries in the Midland/Odessa area Monday through Friday (unless closed for special occasion).
We do our best to have all orders placed BEFORE NOON on delivery days delivered SAME DAY. All orders placed after noon will be delivered the following delivery day.
