Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio 'Munazei' Bianco
The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel on its lees (aka not filtering out the yeast post fermentation) for six months, which adds all sorts of toasted bread/yeast/nuttiness to the wine. This is pure Napoli white wine at its finest.
The dramatically named Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio (or "Tears of Christ on Vesuvius"), is an Italian wine region comprised of the slopes of Continental Europe's only active volcano, Mount Vesuvius. Yes, that Mount Vesuvius.
As you can imagine, the ground these vines make their home in is pure volcanic soil, and while most bianco (or white) wines from this part of Campania are comprised of blends utilizing verdeca, greco, coda di volpe, and falanghina, Casa Setaro's is unique in that it is 100% Caprettone—the most local of local varieties found here.

We generally make deliveries in the Midland/Odessa area Monday through Friday (unless closed for special occasion).
We do our best to have all orders placed BEFORE NOON on delivery days delivered SAME DAY. All orders placed after noon will be delivered the following delivery day. For most of Midland County orders over $150 in certain areas will receive FREE DELIVERY. Delivery distances defined by zip codes. See delivery zones below.
