Outward Wines
Paso Robles Willow Creek 'Old Oak Vineyard' Vaccarèse
Vaccarèse is one of the rarest grapes in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, with just over 10 acres planted there and a mere one acre here at this site. As far as we know, this is one of two vineyards in North America that grow this grape. It's a grape with undoubted southern Rhône character but with added characteristics and structure reminiscent of Mondeuse. For 2025, this Vaccarèse spent 14 days on the skins with 50% whole cluster inclusion. After fermentation, the wine was pressed and matured in neutral French oak barrels for 10 months.
Focused on producing small-lot, site-specific wines that showcase the best of what California's Central Coast has to offer, Outward wines in the partnership between Natalie Siddique and Ryan Pace. All of their vineyards are farmed organically, and are located in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean.
In the cellar they strive to minimize inputs throughout the winemaking process, allowing for a clear picture of the fruit from each farmed site to come into fruition.
Only 48 cases produced.
