Saumur Brézé Blanc
Exceptionally old Chenin Blanc, planted between 1933 and 1952. The organic vines were hand-harvested, pressed whole cluster, wild fermented and matured for 15-18 months on its lees in old oak. Bottled filtered.
In the words of legendary wine exporter Becky Wasserman, Romain Guiberteau crafts beautiful, brilliant wines from some of the best land in Brézé, which have an almost "punk rock violence, yet of Bach-like logic and profoundness."
Romain has controlled and operated his family's holdings in Brézé since he took over as a flailing law student. Under his watch, and in only a few years, Domaine Guiberteau has become one of the most sought after domaines in Saumur, with his wines already stringently allocated and found in the best restaurants in France.

We generally make deliveries in the Midland/Odessa area Monday through Friday (unless closed for special occasion).
We do our best to have all orders placed BEFORE NOON on delivery days delivered SAME DAY. All orders placed after noon will be delivered the following delivery day. For most of Midland County orders over $150 in certain areas will receive FREE DELIVERY. Delivery distances defined by zip codes. See delivery zones below.
