Swartland Ramnasgras Cinsault
From a single estate vineyard in Paardeberg, this 100% Cinsault comes from vineys planted on decomposed granite in 1954. It is hand-harvested with careful selection, whole bunch fermented using only native yeasts before a one-year aging process.
Owned by cousins Hein and Adi Badenhorst, who began their winemaking journey restoring the cellar on a the Swartland farm that was last used in the 1930’s to make natural wines in the "old manner," with every aspect of the care of the vineyard being done either by hand or horse plow.
Concentrated aromas of red cherry and raspberry, flinty earthiness, and spices, leading to a savory finish. You can almost feel the Cape breeze blowing across the herbs and bushes of the Paardeberg with this one.

We generally make deliveries in the Midland/Odessa area Monday through Friday (unless closed for special occasion).
We do our best to have all orders placed BEFORE NOON on delivery days delivered SAME DAY. All orders placed after noon will be delivered the following delivery day. For most of Midland County orders over $150 in certain areas will receive FREE DELIVERY. Delivery distances defined by zip codes. See delivery zones below.
